Dermaroller

This is a type of therapy that provides advanced micro-medical skin-needling. This procedure not only stimulates the skin in a way that it will repair itself and regenerate itself safely and naturally, but will also create a healthier, brighter, and younger-looking skin. As compared to the "down time" associated with medium and deep Chemical Peels and assertive Laser treatments, Dermaroller therapy offers excellent results without the associated "down time" of these other procedures. As it is also a natural process that does not take anything away from the body or include the addition of foreign substances, it has an outstanding safety profile when used by trained medical aesthetic professionals.

The Advantages of Dermaroller Therapy

During the summer months, other treatments can present an increased risk factor due to the increased sensitivity to UV rays. This is not a factor that comes into play when Dermaroller Therapy is used. This procedure is also more suitable for people with darker skin as well. The results of Skin Needling are similar to those provided by Chemical Peels, Fraxel, and Laser Resurfacing, but provides less down time and is also a much cheaper option than these other methods. What is known as the Titanium Dermaroller creates a number of tiny puncture wounds to the deeper layers of the skin, which helps facilitate the release of growth factors that activate new collagen and elastin production. While other resurfacing techniques may require removal of the healthy epidermis, this technique creates dermal damage without the removal of the epidermis, which results in no comparable pain and a much faster healing period. While the results are achieved quickly they will also last as well.

Pin point punctures into the dermis are created as the patient rolls over their skin, most of which are just temporarily pushing the pores open. This stimulates the production elastin and collagen that is triggered by the body's perception that there is damage that is being done. Your body will begin the healing process naturally any time you sustain an injury, but will only heal enough to keep you healthy, which is different than the healing done on a cosmetic level. Patients can encourage their body to continue the healing process by persistently triggering it until they become satisfied with the results. Opening the skin in this way not only increases the penetration and effectiveness of any topical product dramatically, but also creates mini perforations that stimulate healing mechanisms of the skin, which increases the production of a number of important factors for healthy skin.

Treating Acne Scars and Stretch Marks

The appearance of acne scars, stretch marks, sun damaged or age damaged skin, and decolette and facial wrinkles and lines can be significantly improved by the use of genuine Dermaroller Therapy. It also provides for deeper penetration of hyaluronic acid, vitamins, and other medicated skin care products. Products should be chosen according to skin type and condition.

To numb the skin a topical anaesthetic is normally used to make the procedure comfortable. This will usually take around 30 minutes to take effect and the Genuine Dermaroller Therapy procedure itself will normally take anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes. After the procedure the body will naturally start to repair and regenerate the skin in the dermis. This can take some time as the blood supply will be enhanced, new skin cells will be generated, and new collagen will be formed. Visible signs of repair and regeneration can take up to six weeks and over the following months the process will continue. This will result in a long lasting, natural enhancement.

It is normally recommended to undergo a series of three procedures with about six weeks in between them. It is possible that up to five procedures may be done in cases where deep acne scars or other types of scars are being treated.

After the Procedure

Although your skin may feel warm and tight and look similar to moderate sunburn, these aspects will normally subside within the first day. Chiroxy Cream may be applied after the procedure to help calm and soothe the skin. Tepid water should be used to clean your face in the first 48 hours following the procedure and the face should be dried gently using clean hands. It is recommended not to use makeup within the first 12 hours and a broad spectrum UVA/UVB SPF50 sunscreen should be applied if the patient will be exposed to daylight immediately after the procedure.

Prominent Ear Correction

Although having prominent ears typically causes no physical discomfort as such they can sometimes lead to a lack of self-confidence and be on the receiving end of cruel jokes. Sometimes just one ear is the problem but usually both will be pinned back. It is also possible to perform other types of ear surgery to the lobes depending on the complexity of the case.

Male Breast Reduction

Gynecomastia is the medical term for male breasts and can be a very humiliating condition for men and can make them very self-conscious. Because of this, some individuals decide to undergo a male breast reduction procedure in order to remove the excess tissue and, occasionally, even skin from the area of the breasts.

Liposuction / Liposculpture / Body-Jet Lipo

You can now experience the latest advancements in cosmetic surgery with the revolutionary Body-Jet Water-jet assisted liposuction procedure. The gentle water jet washes away the fat without damaging the underlying structures such as the blood vessels and nerves which means less recovery time and bruising.
